Burberry Scarf

Did you see someone really attractive a couple of weeks ago, someone who was gorgeous enough to fall in love with at first sight? Since you were too shy and nervous to approach her the first time, you decided to gather yourself and approach her the next time with renewed confidence. You have to meet her the next time! She is really beautiful and has a traffic-stopping smile. What else do you remember about her? Blonde, a slender neck, sharp features with a cute nose and chinky blue eyes, and yes, a Burberry Scarf! Every other girl is beautiful or almost beautiful but what sets your girl apart from others was the prized Burberry scarf.

So, the next time you meet her, you resolve that you would not talk about her blonde hair and blue eyes. Well, everyone compliments her about them and it would be nothing new to her. Forget it! But if you talk to her about how well the Burberry scarf blended with her personality when you saw her the first time, she will have your attention. She will be proud of her choice.

You spot her again after a few days and you give her a smile. She is still wearing that beige Burberry scarf which appears to be her favorite. Though she is a little apprehensive about returning your smile, she returns one anyway. You tell her that that she looks quite attractive in that scarf. She thanks you and you offer her a drink. After making her comfortable, you tell her that the Burberry scarf, which she flaunts, was a result of the toil of 21 year old Thomas Burberry, an apprentice to a country draper, who had an outfitters shop in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England in the year 1856. It was the rags to riches fairy tale story which proved true to the lad because of his dedication and determination. He was responsible for the patented “gabardine”, a water-resistant breathable fabric. Burberry then, after some years, opened a shop in Haymarket, London which stands as the company’s headquarters today.
